Milliken, Colorado is located about 45 miles North of
Denver Colorado and 10 miles East of Johnstown. Greeley is also close buy,
about 12 miles further East. Milliken is a small community serving local
area farmers and other citizens. It has a high quality
of life. The citizens have access to very good recreational facilities, medical services,
and shopping for a small town. This is because they are located within 20-30
miles to both Loveland and Greeley. The now developing major area at the
corner of I-25 and Highway 34 is but a short drive. Milliken is growing
rapidly as many people see it as a small town with good highway access to
jobs as far as Denver but Ft Collins, Greeley and Loveland is where many
work. Although these services seem many miles they are actually closer to
great services than most people in cities like Denver. It is much easier and
faster to get around in the country. The roads are very good there. |

Johnstown and it's nearest neighbor Milliken have banded
together on many things and are now sometimes referred to as the
Johnstown-Milliken area. The roads in this area are excellent. |

The climate is very mild and considered a near desert but
it's hard to tell with all the trees along the river banks and planted
downtown. |
